About Ski Art
Ski Art is a ski race club based at ‘Ski Rossendale’ in Lancashire. Our focus is race training for juniors and adults of all ages. We are registered with Snowsport England. Our members take part in regional fun races, club nationals and nationals on artifical outdoor and indoor snow slopes. To take part in the National Races the skiers are registered with Snowsport England and they are awarded seed points when they compete in a race. The number of seed points that the racer has is an indication of their national ranking.
When do we meet?
We have sessions at Ski Rossendale. These are from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm every Tuesday evening. We also organise training events during school holidays.
What standard do I have to be?
You need to ski to a basic parallel standard and be committed to developing your skiing. Our coach will then train you to ski through a slaom course and you will soon be ready to enter races. When you first start racing you can enter the local fun races, like Summer Race League at Rossendale and Winter Race League at Pendle. Once you get faster you can enter Club Nationals and Grand Prix which are held around the country.
Does the club ski on snow as well?
Yes, we have trips to the Alps for training, development and enjoyment.

Who Coaches?
We have a team of highly qualified Coaches trained by the Home National Governing Bodies and other skiing nations.
